(a) In order to provide funds for the purpose of financing capital improvements and the general revenue fund operations of the City and for other municipal purposes, there shall be and hereby is levied a tax of 1% on qualifying salaries and/or wages, commissions and other compensation and taxable income, and on net profits, as hereinafter provided, such one percent to be effective beginning July 1, 1967.

(b) In order to provide additional revenue for the City to be paid into the general revenue fund, there shall be and hereby is levied an additional tax of 0.25% on qualifying salaries and/or wages, including vacation and sick pay, commissions and other compensation and taxable income, and on net profits, as hereinafter provided.

(c) In order to provide additional revenue for the City to be paid into the general revenue fund, there shall be and hereby is levied an additional tax of 0.5% on qualifying salaries and/or wages, including vacation and sick pay, commissions and other compensation and taxable income, and on net profits as hereinafter provided.
(d) In order to provide funds for the purpose of financing capital improvements and to facilitate new and expanded growth for commercial and economic development in a JEDZ or JEDD and for other municipal purposes of the City, there shall be and hereby is levied a tax of 1.75% on qualifying salaries and/or wages, commissions and other compensation and taxable income, and on net profits, as hereinafter provided, such 1.75% to be effective beginning January 1, 2006.
