648.11 SOLICITING BUSINESS FROM PASSERS BY.
   (a)   No person engaged in business in the City shall employ anyone to stand or walk back and forth upon the sidewalk in front of his or her place of business and call the attention of persons standing on or passing along such sidewalk to such place of business or the different articles for sale therein or the price of the same or solicit such persons to enter his or her place of business.
   (b)   No person shall stand or walk back and forth upon the sidewalk in front of any place of business in the City or, being in a place of business, call the attention of persons standing upon or walking along such sidewalk to such place of business or the different articles for sale therein or the price of the same or solicit persons to enter such place of business.

   (c)   Whoever violates any of the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 698.02.
