In any proceeding in which a court determines that there has been a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, the court shall award compensatory damages and, where appropriate, punitive damages of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), along with attorney's fees and court costs. The court may also order such other relief as it deems necessary and appropriate, which may include, but is not limited to, issuance of any permanent or temporary injunction, temporary restraining order or other relief.
