618.09 HINDERING CAPTURE OF ANY ANIMAL.

(a) No person shall willfully or intentionally obstruct or interfere with anyone lawfully engaged in impounding any animal or anyone making a lawful examination of a dog wearing a tag.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on the first offense; and on each subsequent offense a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
