The Service Director is hereby authorized to establish zones to be known as parking zones on streets selected by Council for the location of such zones. In such parking zones the Director shall cause signs to be installed and shall cause parking spaces to be designated as herein provided. The Director shall fix the time limitation for legal parking in such zones and the hours during the day or night when such parking zones shall be used and shall determine when such time limitation shall be effective, in compliance with the provisions of this chapter. The Director shall indicate the time limitation by designating the same by appropriate signs posted in close proximity to such zones.
