438.27 WARNING SIGN BEFORE SAFETY DEVICE AT RAILROAD GRADE CROSSING.
   When a safety device has been installed in the traveled portion of a street at a railroad grade crossing for the protection of the traveling public, the Director of Public Safety shall place a warning sign not less than 200 feet from the crossing. No operator of a vehicle shall fail to bring such vehicle under control at the location of such warning sign so as to be able to bring such vehicle to a complete stop at such safety device. Colliding with such safety device at the crossing is prima-facie evidence that the driver is a reckless driver.
