The Sixth Ward shall contains that territory bounded and described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Catalina Drive and the center line of North 21st Street; thence in a northerly direction along the center line of North 21st Street to its intersection with the center line of Goosepond Road; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of Goosepond Road to its intersection with the center line of Sunnyside Avenue; thence in a northerly direction along the center line of Sunnyside Avenue to the Corporation Line of the City of Newark; thence in a northwesterly direction, following the meanderings of the Corporation Line of the City of Newark to its intersection with the center line of Myrtle Avenue; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of Myrtle Avenue to its intersection with the center line of Independence Drive; thence in a southerly direction along the center line of Independence Drive to the center line of Goosepond Road; thence in a westerly direction long the center line of Goosepond Road to the Corporation Line of the City of Newark; thence in a westerly, northerly and easterly direction along the Corporation Line of the City of Newark to its intersection with Mt. Vernon Road (State Route 13 North); thence in a northerly direction along that portion of the Corporation Line of the City of Newark lies beside Mt. Vernon Road to the point at Dry Creek, where the Corporation Line of the City of Newark begins to meander again; thence in an easterly, northerly, southerly, and westerly direction following the meandering of the Corporation Line of the City of Newark until its intersection with the center line of Cedar Run Road; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of Cedar Run Road to its intersection with the center line of Waterworks Road; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of Waterworks Road to its intersection with the center line of Hollander Street; thence in a southeasterly direction along the center line of Hollander Street to its intersection with the center line of Cherry Street; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of Cherry Street to the center line of CSX Railroad; thence in a southerly direction along the center line of the CSX Railroad to the center line of East Stevens Street; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of East Stevens Street to its intersection with the center line of West Stevens Street; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of West Stevens Street to the center line of Mt. Vernon Road; thence in a southerly direction along the center line of Mt. Vernon Road to its intersection with the center line of Jefferson Road; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of Jefferson Road to its intersection with the center line of Woods Avenue; thence in a northerly direction along the center line of Woods Avenue to its intersection with the center line of Rugg Avenue; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of Rugg Avenue to its intersection with the center line of Mike's Lane; thence in a southerly direction along the center line of Mike's Lane to its intersection with the center line of Jefferson Road; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of Jefferson Road to its intersection with the center line of King Avenue; thence in a northwesterly direction along the center line of King Avenue to its intersection with the center line of Alford Drive; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of Alford Drive to its intersection with the center line of Kennedy Street; thence in a northerly direction along the center line of Kennedy Street to its intersection with the center line of Catalina Drive; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of Catalina Drive to the place of beginning.
