The Fifth Ward shall contain that territory bounded and described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Granville Road and the center line of North 21st Street; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of Granville Road to its intersection with the center line of Country Club Drive; thence in a southerly direction along the center line of Country Club Drive and continuing along the center line of West Church Street to its intersection with the center line of State Route 16; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of State Route 16 to its intersection with the Corporation Line of the City of Newark; thence in a northerly direction along Corporation Line of the City of Newark, crossing Granville Road, and continuing to follow the meanderings of the Corporation Line of the City of Newark in a northerly, westerly, southerly and easterly direction to its intersection with the center line of Goosepond Road; thence in an easterly direction along the center line of Goosepond Road to its intersection with the center line of independence Drive; thence in a northerly direction along the center line of Independence Drive to the center line of Myrtle Avenue; thence in an easterly direction along the center line of Myrtle Avenue to its intersection with the center line of Kenarbre Drive, that line also being the Corporation Line of the City of Newark; thence in a southeasterly direction, following the meanderings of the Corporation Line of the City of Newark to its intersection with the center line of Sunnyside Avenue; thence in a southerly direction along the center line of Sunnyside Avenue to its intersection with the center line of Goosepond Road; thence in an easterly direction along the center line of Goosepond Road to its intersection with the center line of North 21st Street; thence in a southerly direction along the center line of North 21st Street to the place of beginning.
