202.99 GENERAL PENALTY; MULTIPLE VIOLATIONS.
   (a)   Whenever, in the Codified Ordinances or an any ordinance of the Municipality, any act is prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful or an offense or a misdemeanor, or whenever the doing of any act is required or the failure to do any act is declared to be unlawful, where no specific penalty is otherwise provided, whoever violates or fails to comply with any such provision is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree and shall be fined not more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) or imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues.
   (b)   Whoever violates or fails to comply with any provision of these Codified Ordinances, the elements of which offense constitute a violation of another provision of these Codified Ordinances, whether the provisions are part of the same component code or not, may be prosecuted for a violation of, or noncompliance with, any or all of such provisions. The prosecution by the Municipality for a violation of or noncompliance with one such provision does not preclude a prosecution for a violation of or noncompliance with another such provision, the element of which, at least in part, are common to both.
