12.20.010: BUILDINGS, WINDOWS EXTENDING OVER STREET LINES PROHIBITED:
Except as permitted under title 17, chapter 17.170 of this Code, it is unlawful for any person to maintain, construct or place or cause to be placed, on premises belonging to the person or in the person's possession or under the person's control, any building or bay window which shall extend over the right-of-way of any lot. (Ord. 17-30)
12.20.015: PEDESTRIAN BENCHES:
Pedestrian benches, except those provided by the Utah Transit Authority or other political subdivisions of the State and which are approved by the Mayor, are prohibited in public rights-of- way. Commercial advertising is prohibited on pedestrian benches. (Ord. 17-30)
12.20.020: AUTHORITY OF CITY TO REQUIRE REMOVAL:
If any street or sidewalk is encroached upon by a fence, building, bay window or otherwise, the City Public Works Director or designee shall, in writing, require the same to be removed. (Ord. 18-06)
