The City Council finds it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City to adopt certain Salt Lake Valley Health Department health regulations to clarify the authority of City public officials to enforce the provisions of those regulations for violations occurring within the City. Salt Lake Valley Health Department Health Regulation 7, "General Sanitation", adopted by the Salt Lake City County Board of Health on September 7, 1989, and as amended thereafter, is adopted in its entirety. The regulation shall be construed to apply only to the incorporated area of the City. References in Regulation 7 to personnel and officers of the Salt Lake Valley Health Department shall be interpreted and construed where necessary to mean personnel and officers of the City to carry out the intent of this chapter. In case of conflict between the regulations of this chapter and chapter 8.24 of this title the more restrictive shall apply. (Ord. 17-25)
