A person aggrieved by a decision of the City Engineer may appeal in writing within ten (10) calendar days to the Public Works Director, who shall conduct an informal hearing. The Director shall forward a recommendation to the Mayor within ten (10) calendar days that the City Engineer's decision be either upheld, modified or overturned, and the Mayor shall thereafter issue a final written decision in the matter. An appeal may be taken to a court of competent jurisdiction within thirty (30) days from the date of the Mayor's final decision. (Ord. 18-06)
