6.12.110: SALE OF ANIMALS:
   A.   It is unlawful for any person to sell, offer for sale, barter or give away any baby rabbits or fowl under two (2) months of age in any quantity less than six (6). Such animals may not be artificially dyed or colored. Nothing in this section shall be construed to prohibit the raising of rabbits and fowl by a private individual for personal use and consumption, provided that proper enclosures and other facilities shall be maintained for the care and containment of such animals while they are in possession.
   B.   It is unlawful for any person to offer as premium, prize, award, novelty, or incentive to purchase merchandise, any live animal.
   C.   It is unlawful for any pet shop to raise or sell any Pseudemysscripta-elegans, or P. troostii family Testudinidae, "pet turtles". (Ord. 17-15)
