A. The funds for the total number of grants each fiscal year shall not exceed one-fourth (1/4) of one percent (1%) of the projected General Fund revenue for that year; and
B. The amount of this grant shall appear as a line item in the nondepartmental budget.
C. The Council, in adopting the general budget, shall determine the amount to be set aside for grants for the fiscal year beginning July 1. (Ord. 19-05: Ord. 17-17)
A. After the proposals have been submitted, the Finance and Administration Department shall review the proposals and rank them in order of priority. In determining priority, it may consider the following:

2. Benefit provided to City residents; and
3. Commitment to raise matching funds from other sources.
B. The Finance and Administration Department shall then submit the ranked proposals, together with recommended funding levels, to the Council. (Ord. 19-05: Ord. 17-17)
