§ 31.04 BOND AND OATH.
   Before entering on the duties of the office, the City Clerk and Deputy Clerk shall be required to execute a bond and shall take an oath as prescribed by Section 228 of the Kentucky Constitution. Additional security may be required at any time. If the Clerk or Deputy Clerk fails to comply, the office shall be considered vacant.
