(B) The City Manager shall, upon direction of Council, have the power and authority to cause parking signs to be placed in city parking lots and upon city streets, designating limitations upon the permitted time periods for continuous parking, and it shall be unlawful to place or park an automobile, truck, or other vehicle for longer than the period designated by any such signs.
(C) Whoever violates any provision of this schedule, for which another penalty is not specifically provided, shall be fined not more than $50 for each offense committed.
