SNOW REMOVAL
§ 99.35 REMOVAL OF SNOW ON SIDEWALKS.
   Any person owning, occupying, or controlling any lot, part of lot, or other real estate in the town abutting on any sidewalk shall remove from the sidewalk any snow or ice that may fall or accumulate thereon within six hours after such snow or ice has so fallen or accumulated thereon, provided that such person shall not be required to remove such snow or ice between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. of the following morning in the event such snow or ice shall fall or accumulate at such time that it may not be removed before 5:00 p.m.

§ 99.36 REMOVAL BY TOWN; LIABILITY OF OWNER.
   If any person shall fail to remove any snow or ice from any improved sidewalk within the time provided for in this subchapter, the Street Commissioner may remove such snow and ice and he shall keep an accurate account of the time employed in so doing and the expense thereof. The owner of the lot, part of the lot, or other real estate shall be liable to the town in an action against the person for the reasonable costs and expenses thereof, together with the costs of the action.
§ 99.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter for which no penalty is otherwise provided, shall be subject to the penalty set forth in § 10.99. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day that a violation occurs or continues.
   (B)   Any person who shall violate § 99.35 shall upon conviction thereof be fined in any sum not exceeding $10.
   (C)   A property owner who violates § 99.07 shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $100 for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each day during which a violation occurs or continues.
