12-5-1: PREAPPLICATION; SKETCH PLAN AND DATA:
   A.   Proof Of Ownership: Proof of ownership of the land to be subdivided, in the form of a deed or certificate of title search, shall be presented by the subdivider at the time of the presentation of the sketch plan. No further consideration will be given the proposed subdivision unless such proof of ownership is established.
   B.   General Data: General subdivision data shall describe or outline the existing conditions of the site and the proposed development as necessary to supplement the drawings required below. This shall include information on existing covenants, existing adjacent zoning, land characteristics, available community facilities, utilities, and information describing the subdivision proposal, such as number of residential lots; typical lot width and depth; business areas; school, playground, and park areas; other public areas; proposed protective covenants; proposed utilities; and proposed street improvements.
   C.   Sketch Plan: Sketch plan of topographic survey shall show in simple sketch form the proposed layout of streets, lots, and other features in relation to existing conditions. The sketch plan shall be an engineered sketch made directly on a print of the topographic survey, with all details to scale. The sketch plan shall include the existing topographic data sufficient to show drainage patterns, any designated wetlands from the national wetlands inventory map, and any designated floodways or floodplains. Similarly, a map shall be prepared indicating the location of the proposed subdivision in relation to the village. (Ord. 831, 8-10-1994)
