A. Definitions: For the purposes of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning:
AGENCY AGREEMENT: An agreement by and between a developer or homeowners' association providing for the village of Monee to provide police protection and traffic enforcement.
PRIVATE COMMUNITIES: A subdivision or community located within the corporate limits of the village but are privately operated and maintained by a developer or homeowners' association.
B. Authority To Execute Agency Agreement: Upon receipt of a written request by an authorized agent of a private community, the appropriate village staff shall have the authority to execute an agency agreement.
C. Terms Of Agency Agreement: Each agency agreement shall include the location of the private community, a specific request for police protection and traffic enforcement, and an indemnification/hold harmless provision on behalf of the village of Monee, its officers, agents and officials.
