7-4-9: REMOVAL OF DISEASED TREES:
All crippled, deformed and physically damaged trees, regardless of species, if professional opinion indicates that recovery and normal development cannot be expected, shall be removed. All trees infected with a non-curable disease that will result in deformation, death and infection of other trees shall be removed. Said removal shall solely be undertaken by the Village and its staff. All such trees will be removed in accordance with this chapter and prioritization and as replacement plan and budget allows. Trees inspected by a Village certified arborist that are fifty percent (50%) or more diseased or dead, those that have the greatest potential to harm human life or property and those on a main artery or parkway with most Village visibility will take the highest priority.
