The planting of trees shall not be permitted under any of the following circumstances:
A. If such planting interferes with existing or planned structures or existing or planned underground or overhead utilities, such as sewers, pipes, or cables. In such cases, the Com Ed approved species list will be followed in accordance with those specifications.
B. If, in the sole discretion of the Superintendent of Public Works, such planting would create a hazardous traffic situation by impairing driver or pedestrian visibility at intersections or where traffic controls are located. (Ord. 1656, 8-28-2013)
