A. Definitions: The following words and terms used in this section shall have the following meanings unless the context or use clearly indicates another or different meaning is intended:
MUNICIPAL PROPERTY: Any Municipal property controlled by the Village of Monee.
SKATEBOARDING: A toy consisting of a short oblong board with a pair of small wheels at each end riding, usually, in a standing position.
B. Prohibiting Skateboarding On Municipal Property: It shall be unlawful for a person to engage in the activity of skateboarding on any Municipal property including in the public parks.
C. Posting Of Signs: Signs shall be posted within the Village indicating that skateboarding is prohibited on Municipal property.
D. Penalty: Any person found to be in violation of this section shall be fined fifty dollars ($50.00) for each offense. (Ord. 1505, 7-22-2009)
