Except for section 4-9-4, the provisions of this chapter shall not apply to any person making application for a permit to move any building constructed within the city, approved by the building official, where such building does not exceed nine feet in height, fourteen feet in width and twenty feet in length (9' x 14' x 20'), and provided, that such building may be carried on a straight flatbed truck with an overall height not to exceed thirteen feet (13').
Such permit shall be classified as a special permit, and before issuance of the permit, the applicant shall pay to the finance officer the fee established from time to time set by resolution of the city council. (1984 Code § 16-13)
