A. The planning and zoning commission of the city shall consist of not less than five (5) members appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the city council. The full term of each of the members shall be for five (5) years, and shall be on a rotating basis so that the term of at least one member shall expire each year. Appointment for partial terms may be made in order to establish or maintain the membership rotation provided for herein.
B. The commission shall elect is chair from among its members for a term of one year, with eligibility for reelection, and may fill such other of its offices as it may create in the manner prescribed by the rules of the commission. (Ord. 1812, 8-7-1995)
