7-4-7: RESTRICTED VEHICULAR AND PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC:
   A.   Prohibited: It shall be unlawful to drive or travel with any automobile, truck, motor vehicle or other vehicle or for pedestrians to travel on and along 2nd Avenue West from a point where 2nd Avenue West intersects with Jimmey Creek westerly to the Milan Municipal sewerage plant. The provisions of this subsection A shall not apply to Village employees while employed by the Village during working hours nor to vehicles owned by the Village nor to vehicles and pedestrians previously authorized by the Chief of Police or Superintendent of the Water and Sewer Department to drive or travel on and along said section of 2nd Avenue West.    B.   No Passing Zone: No vehicle shall be driven to the left side of the center of the roadway in overtaking and passing another vehicle proceeding in the same direction while proceeding in either direction along West 4th Street between 15th Avenue and a point six hundred eighty three feet (683') north of 15th Avenue. The no passing zone shall be marked by two (2) solid yellow stripes down the center of the pavement. (Ord. 1654, 4-17-2017)
   C.   Warning Signs: The Chief of Police or any person authorized by the President and Board of Trustees shall cause warning signs to be posted at the location where Jimmey Creek intersects with 2nd Avenue West, which warning signs shall notify the public that the area westerly of the signs is a restricted area and that only authorized personnel are to enter the area.
