7-3-2: DISPLAYING VEHICLE FOR SALE:
   A.   Definitions: For the purposes of this section, the following words shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this subsection:
    DISPLAYING: Placing on, in, or in close proximity to a parked vehicle any sign, written message, or loudspeaker system visible or audible to the public traveling on any public highway within the village which conveys the message that the vehicle is for sale.
   HIGHWAY: Any road, avenue, thoroughfare, street, alley, or public way within the village of Milan.
   VEHICLE: Any motor vehicle, car, auto, truck, motorcycle, moped, golf cart, mobile home, recreational vehicle, trailer and any other machine used for the conveyance of persons or property.
   B.   Display Prohibited: It is unlawful for any person to park any vehicle upon any highway within the village for the principal purpose of displaying the vehicle for sale. (Ord. 1033, 10-5-1992)
   C.   Penalty: Any person violating any provision of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined as provided in section 1-4B-1 of this code. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable under the provisions of this subsection.
