6-5E-1: RESISTING OR OBSTRUCTING A POLICE OFFICER:
A person resists or obstructs a police officer who knowingly resists or obstructs the performance by one known to the person to be a police officer of any authorized act within his official capacity. See section 1-4B-1 of this code for fines for violation of this section and title 1, chapter 4, article C of this code for no contest procedures. (1983 Code § 8-1-4; amd. 2011 Code)
