A. Definition: The words "recyclable item", as used in subsection B of this section, shall refer to only the following items of used personal property: refrigerators, stoves, clothes washers and dryers, dishwashers, ovens - conventional and microwave, ranges, water heaters, air conditioners, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, water coolers, heat pumps, chillers, freezers, furnaces and boilers.
B. Theft Prohibited: It shall be unlawful for any person to collect, obtain, possess or pick up any recyclable item placed for collection by any resident of the village at curbside, or elsewhere on the resident's property, for the purpose of being collected as refuse by the village or its contracting agent.
