4-2-16: PREMISES REQUIREMENTS:
   A.   Sanitation: Each licensee shall maintain upon the premises licensed to him or her for the sale of liquor under this chapter, separate toilets for men and for women, each of which shall be equipped with flush toilets connected with a suitable sewage disposal system complying with the ordinances of the village and with the statutes of the state of Illinois, and shall be equipped with lavatories with running water, said toilets otherwise to comply with the statutes of the state of Illinois and the rules and regulations of the Illinois liquor control commission.
   B.   Lighting: All rooms where alcohol is sold for consumption upon the premises shall be continuously lighted during business hours by natural or artificial light so that all parts of the interior of the premises shall be clearly visible.
   C.   Occupant Load: The established occupant load of any licensed premises shall be posted in a prominent location at all times. The premises shall not exceed the posted capacity at any time.
   D.   Building Inspections: Each licensee shall allow the village building inspector and the Blackhawk fire department to inspect the licensed premises at least one time each year to ensure compliance with the village building and fire codes. Failure to maintain the licensed premises in accordance with the said building and fire codes shall be grounds for suspension or revocation of the liquor license pursuant to section 4-2-22 of this chapter.
