The Director of Economic Development, under the direction and general supervision of the Mayor, shall:
(a) Serve to enhance business opportunities for local business; attract new businesses through consultation; offer specialized programs; coordinate all resources available including federal, state, and county funds, grants and programs.
(b) Serve to enhance and improve neighborhoods and housing by coordinating resources available through federal, state and county funds, grants and programs.
(c) Implement and maintain programs designed to address economic and community development issues.
(d) Prepare grant proposals for federal, state and county assistance programs in the area of economic and community development.
