Grading and Drainage
1472.01   Finished grading around newly constructed buildings.

1472.01 FINISHED GRADING AROUND NEWLY CONSTRUCTED BUILDINGS.
   The finished grading around any newly constructed building shall be at least eighteen inches above the street or curb elevation and shall:
   (a)   Divert water away from the building by a minimum six-inch slope per ten-foot length;
   (b)   Prevent standing water and soil saturation detrimental to structures and lot use; and
   (c)   Provide for disposal of water from the lot to the gutter of the street.

1472.99 PENALTY.
   Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree and shall be fined not more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) or imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both, for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
