A. Adoption: A certain document, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the City of Mesquite, being marked and designated as the Uniform Mechanical Code, 2018 edition, as published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, be and is hereby adopted as the Mechanical Code of the City of Mesquite, in the State of Nevada for regulating and controlling the design, construction, installation, quality of materials, location, operation, and maintenance or use of heating, ventilating, cooling, and refrigeration systems; incinerators; and other miscellaneous heat producing appliances within the City of Mesquite; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Mechanical Code on file in the Office of the Mesquite Building Department are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this section, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in subsection B of this section.
B. Amendments: The Southern Nevada amendments with City of Mesquite amendments to the 2018 Uniform Mechanical Code are available for review at the City Clerk's Office. (Ord. 550, 10-23-2018, eff. 11-13-2018)
