(a) Whoever violates any of the provisions of the International Property Maintenance Code, as adopted in Section 1460.01, is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense and a misdemeanor of the first degree on a second or subsequent offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues after due notice has been served, in accordance with the terms and provisions of the Code or with applicable law.
(b) A minor misdemeanor is punishable by a fine of not more than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00). A misdemeanor of the first degree is punishable by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisonment for not more than six months, or both.
