The Assistant Law Director shall be appointed by the Law Director and shall perform the duties assigned by and under the general supervision and direction of the Law Director; perform all the duties of the office of the City Police Prosecutor and shall prosecute violations of City ordinances where ordinances provide for a penalty upon conviction.
The Assistant Law Director shall maintain office hours at the Mentor City Hall, or such other place as Council may direct and designate, not less than one (1) day each work week, and not less than six (6) hours each week. This shall be in addition to court appearances.
