The Department of Engineering and Building shall be responsible to prepare the necessary surveys, plans and specifications for all engineering projects carried on in the City. It shall also be responsible for the enforcement of right of way construction codes, stormwater management codes, erosion and sediment control codes, building codes, property maintenance codes, and related planning and zoning codes of the City. It shall also perform such other duties as may be required by the City Engineer including assisting and cooperating with the Chief Building Official in the enforcement of all building codes.
