115.28 POSTING COMMISSION/BOARD APPOINTMENTS.
   All terms of Commissions and Boards required by the City of Mentor Charter or Code of Ordinances to be filled because of term expiration or vacancy shall be conspicuously posted through the City of Mentor web site and through the City of Mentor television channel as follows: for expiring terms, the posting shall be from Monday of the week of the November general election preceding the term expiration until December 15. In the event of a vacancy during a term, the posting shall be for two weeks, commencing one week after receipt by the Clerk of Council or the President of Council of the vacancy. Posting shall be in the same manner as posting for beginning terms. Commission and Board members and all other persons seeking (re)appointment to an expiring term must submit a resume to the Clerk of Council no later than December 15, or in the event of a vacancy during a term, all persons seeking appointment must submit a resume to the Clerk of Council within the two week posting period. Resumes will then be distributed to Council.
