The supporting structural members of every building shall be maintained structurally sound, not showing any evidence of deterioration or rot which would render them incapable of carrying the imposed loads. Where structural members are excessively deflected, the owner shall repair such deflections, and reinforce or replace said members in accordance with the Building Code.
