The construction, erection, repair or alteration of any building or structure, or any additions thereto and the installation of appliances, electrical, plumbing or mechanical equipment or piping shall conform to the required plans which have been approved, except for minor deviations which do not conflict with the code. In the absence of details on approved plans, work shall conform to the code requirements. Paving, utilities, grading, signage and other related site work shown on the approved plans for associated permits shall conform to the approved site plans. In the absence of details on the approved site plans, the work shall conform to the Mentor Codified Ordinances and the City of Mentor Standard Construction Details and established guidelines available in the office of the City Engineer.
