1321.04 REQUIREMENTS FOR INSULATION.
   All new one, two and three family residential dwelling structures or any new addition to a dwelling structure shall comply with the requirements of the Model Energy Code as required by the Ohio Building Code. In Chapter 4 Residential Design by Component Performance Approach the minimum effective resistance of the thermal insulation of each component to be utilized in the energy compliance calculation for proposed alternatives for areas of 6400 Heating Degree Days are:
Roof/ceiling with less than 10% wall openings
