Inspection and testing services to ensure compliance with the standards contained herein shall be as required by the City Engineer and shall be at the expense of the subdivider.
(a) The subdivider shall post an inspection and testing deposit with the City in the amount of six percent (6%) of the approved construction estimate for inspection and testing requirements. Said deposit shall be posted at the time the subdivision construction permit is issued. Any inspection and testing costs required in addition to the deposit posted by the subdivider shall be billed to the subdivider at the rate as charged by the professional consultant hired by the City to perform said inspection and testing. Inspection services performed by City personnel shall be charged at a rate of $40.00/hour. Any excess inspection and testing deposit shall be refunded to the subdivider.
(b) The subdivider shall also provide the City a record copy of all plan sheets, including those with modifications made consistent with approved field changes, in an electronic format consistent with the system utilized by the City of Mentor.
