Any person, firm or corporation whose residence or business has been equipped with an emergency alarm without the obtaining of a permit therefor, as required by this chapter, shall be deemed guilty of a minor misdemeanor and fined not more than $100.00 or less than $50.00. Each day of violation shall be deemed to be a separate offense.
