(a) A masseur or masseuse registration issued by the Director of Planning shall be revoked or suspended where it appears that the masseur or masseuse has been convicted of any offense which would be cause for denial of a registration upon an original application; has made a false statement on an application for a registration, is under the age of eighteen years; or has committed an act in violation of this chapter.
(b) The Director of Planning, in revoking or suspending a masseur or masseuse registration, shall give the registration holder a written notice specifying the grounds therefor. Such person may, within ten days of such revocation or suspension, file a written request with the Clerk of Council for a hearing before the Board as referred to and in conformity with the procedure outlined in Section 723.06(c). The Board after such hearing, may sustain, disapprove or modify such order.
