389.09 OVERTAKING ANOTHER VEHICLE.

(a) No person operating a vehicle in a shopping center or upon public grounds shall overtake or pass another vehicle preceding in the same direction unless the other vehicle has come to a stop other than in obedience to a traffic control device.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
