Prior to issuance of a permit pursuant to Section 1373.01, the applicant shall deliver to the Building Department a copy of detailed construction plans, drawings and specifications clearly reflecting the details of the construction or alteration contemplated.
If the Chief Building Official finds that the plans conform to good engineering standards, after consulting with and obtaining the written approval of the City Engineer, and the completion thereof would result in a good, safe and workmanlike job of construction or alteration of a lake, dam or reservoir, then a building permit shall be issued.
All building permits for the construction or alteration of lakes, dams or reservoirs shall be issued by the Chief Building Official or his deputies upon request and payment of a fee of fifteen dollars ($15.00).
