351.03 PROHIBITED STANDING OR PARKING PLACES.
   Violations of this section shall be subject to the penalties as set forth in Section 351.99 of this Traffic Code. No person shall stand or park a vehicle, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or to comply with the provisions of this Traffic Code, or while obeying the directions of a police officer or a traffic control device, in any of the following places:
   (a)    On a sidewalk, except a bicycle;
   (b)    In front of a public or private driveway;
   (c)    Within an intersection;
   (d)    Within ten feet of a fire hydrant;
   (e)    On a crosswalk;
   (f)   Within twenty feet of a crosswalk at an intersection;
   (g)    Within thirty feet of, and upon the approach to, any flashing beacon, stop sign or traffic control device;
   (h)    Between a safety zone and the adjacent curb or within thirty feet of points on the curb immediately opposite the end of a safety zone, unless a different length is indicated by a traffic control device;
   (i)    Within fifty feet of the nearest rail of a railroad crossing;
   (j)    Within twenty feet of a driveway entrance to any fire station and, on the side of the street opposite the entrance to any fire station, within seventy-five feet of the entrance when it is properly posted with signs;
   (k)    Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when such standing or parking would obstruct traffic;
   (l)    Alongside any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street;
   (m)    Upon any bridge or other elevated structure upon a street, or within a street tunnel;
   (n)    At any place where signs prohibit stopping, standing or parking, or where the curbing or street is painted yellow, or at any place in excess of the maximum time limited by signs;
   (o)    Within one foot of another parked vehicle;
   (p)    On the roadway portion of a freeway, expressway or thruway.

   (q)    On the side of any street where fire hydrants are located;
   (r)    Between the sidewalk and a roadway or treelawn, or upon the center strip of any freeway, expressway or boulevard, or in a traffic island;

   (s)    In any fire lane on public or private property which has been duly designated and posted as such by the Police Department or the Fire Department. (The Village’s Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, Assistant Fire Marshal, Municipal Fire Safety Inspector, or the Fire Code Official are also granted the authority to enforce this provision);

   (t)    On any street or highway at any time when the Mayor determines and makes a written finding that there exists on any such street or highway two inches or more of snow in depth, which requires that the street or highway be plowed with equipment in order to make such street useable for vehicular traffic;
   (u)    Whenever the Chief of Police determines that there is a traffic hazard and causes signs to be posted advising that no parking or stopping is permitted;
   (v)    Within a school zone when school is in session and between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. except to take on or discharge passengers and then for no longer than is necessary for such purpose;
   (w)    On any treelawn;

   (x)    On private property without the consent of the owner or occupant of the premises, providing such owner or occupant advises the Police Department in writing that such parking is without their consent;

   (y)    On the south side of Seneca Road for a distance of 500 feet east of its intersection with S. O. M. Center Road;
   (z)    On any side of Beta Drive;
   (aa)    On any side of Aintree Park Drive between its intersection with S. O. M Center Road and Hunt Circle;
   (bb)   On the east or west side of Worton Park Drive from its intersection with Wilson Mills Road southerly to a point 150 feet away;
   (cc)    On either side of Pinetree Park Road east and west to a point 150 feet from its intersection with Wilson Mills Road;
   (dd)    During construction work on one side of the street only;
   (ee)    On S. O. M. Center Road, between the south corporation line of Mayfield Village and a point located .12 mile, more or less, north of Wilson Mills Road;
(ff)    On the hydrant side of Bonnieview Road between its intersections with S. O. M. Center Road and Beech Hill Road;
(gg)    On the hydrant side of Glenview Road between its intersections with S. O. M. Center Road and Beech Hill Road;
(hh)    On the hydrant side of Seneca Road between its intersections with S. O. M. Center Road and Beech Hill Road;
(ii)   On the hydrant side of Beech Hill Road between its intersections with Bonnieview Road and Wilson Mills Road.

(jj)    In a public or private parking lot in such a manner as to block the ingress or egress of any motor vehicle;
(kk)    In a public or private parking lot in such a manner that the vehicle would not be entirely within the limits of the space designated by marked lines on the surface; (Ord. 90-18. Passed 5-21-90.)
(ll)    On any designated bicycle trail. (Ord. 90-25. Passed 5-21-90.)
   (mm)   On any property owned by the Municipality between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
