351.99 PENALTY.

   (a)   Whoever violates Section 351.03(d), (j) or (q) shall be fined forty dollars ($40.00) if such fine is paid within forty-eight hours of such violation; a violation of Section 351.03(s) shall be fined forty dollars ($40.00) within the same time frame.

   (b)   Whoever violates Section 351.03(d), (j) or (q) shall be fined fifty dollars ($50.00) if such fine is paid after forty-eight hours; a violation of Section 351.03(s) shall be fined fifty dollars ($50.00) within the same time frame.

   (c)   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter for which no other penalty is provided shall be fined twenty dollars ($20.00) if paid within forty-eight hours.

      (d)   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter for which no other penalty is provided shall be fined forty dollars ($40.00) if paid after forty-eight hours and before seventy-two hours after such violation.

   (e)   Additional fines up to two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) may be assessed in the event the parking violation is not waived.

   (f)   Any person, firm or corporation charged with a violation of any provision of this chapter for which payment of a prescribed fine may be made, may pay such sum in the manner prescribed on the issued traffic ticket. Such payments shall be deemed a plea of guilty, waiver of court appearance and acknowledgement of conviction of the alleged offense and may be accepted in full satisfaction of the prescribed penalty for such alleged violation. Payment of the prescribed fine need not be accepted when laws provide that a certain number of such offenses shall require a court appearance.
