1333.01 ADOPTION; ENFORCEMENT.

   (a)   The National Electric Code of 2017, as well as any subsequent updates, addenda or amendments to the Code, is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference as part of the Mayfield Village Building Code as if fully set forth herein, save and except such portions herein that maybe deleted, modified or amended . The purpose of the National Electric Code is to provide minimum standards so that all electrical materials and installations in dwelling units of One, Two and Three Family Dwellings, mobile homes, multiple family dwellings, commercial occupancies and industrial occupancies shall be in accordance with the requirements of the National Electric Code N.F.P.A - 70 sponsored by the National Fire Protection Association.

   (b)   The National Electric Code shall be enforced by the Building Commissioner and the Electrical Safety Inspector.
