137.02 MAYOR AS DIRECTOR.

The Mayor shall act as head of the Department of Public Safety, pursuant to Article V, Section 1, of the City Charter, and shall have all the powers of the Director of Public Safety until such time as he or she appoints a Director, pursuant to Article V, Section 4, of the City Charter.
