(a) Whenever a point of sale inspection is conducted pursuant to this chapter and it is determined by the Building Department that the owner is in violation of City codes, such owner or his or her agent shall have the right to appeal such a determination to the Board of Zoning Appeals, sitting as the Board of Housing Appeals, pursuant to Sections 1155.06 and 1383.09 of these Codified Ordinances, by giving notice to the Building Department within twenty days of being notified of the same.
(b) The Building Department, upon receiving the notice specified in subsection (a) hereof, shall place the name of the owner on the docket for the next available meeting for the Board of Zoning Appeals, sitting as the Board of Housing Appeals, and shall notify such owner or his or her agent as to the time, date and place of the meeting.
