There is hereby created in the unclassified service of the City, the position of Superintendent of Waste Water Pumping and Collection in the Division of Sewers. Such Superintendent shall be well qualified to do and perform the duties of supervising the sewer systems of the City and the pumping and transmission facilities thereof, the construction, extension, maintenance and repair of sewer lines, regulators, manholes, catch basins, and appurtenances and the custody, care, maintenance, and control of the property used in or by the Division. The Superintendent shall perform such other duties and assume such responsibilities as shall be designated or assigned by the Commissioner or Director of Public Service.
